What's the Hole? Bethesda kind of presents it as sacrificing one innocent life to save many, but it's definitely much more complex than that. It's an easy choice for me considering the fact that the ghouls were trying to overrun Tenpenny Tower with ferals and violently murder all the people, including the innocents, just to increase their own quality of life.
