For some reason this issue always goes away when you're close enough for the game to load the highest quality versions of textures.
The protagonist's face gets mangled easily, though Elma looks perfectly fine in the first scene. To a lesser extent, Cauldros caused some FPS loss. I'm also using the latest version of CemuHook. Some random FPS drop at 1080p, but mainly during entering new areas – very smooth otherwise. Once entering this area crashing becomes much more frequent. As far as i noticed, compared to 1.15.11c, this build introduced some issues: Seems to be a considerable improvement over version 1.15.10 based on a quick run around the map. Unnoticable performance change on 1080p but 5-8 fps lower on 4K compared to v1.7.2. Skybox is now fixed, other than that no major changes from 1.6.3. lots of graphical issues, crashes after first area. CEMU 1.15.2 - Over An Hour of Xenoblade Chronicles X 4K 60 FPS 1. Optionally, there are graphic packs available. Slowdowns to 17-25fps when in battle, glitchy textures (rocks, water, sometimes the ground inside New Los Angeles) Can't go past entering character name (how to confirm? Also, running the game at 60 FPS causes the B button prompts during battles to play faster than they should.I used a number of Graphics Packs so I will list them here:-Resolution: 3840x2160-60 FPS-Anti-Aliasing: NVIDIA FXAA-Contrasty: High Contrasty - shadow lift-Fancy FX: 1440 -- 2880-Negative Texture LOD: LOD -4-Brightness Workaround: NVIDIA-Field of View: Slight FOV increase without breaking framing (0.925)---------------PC Specs:GPU: ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA 1080 Ti OC EditionCPU: Intel i7-8700KPower Supply: Corsair RMi 1000Motherboard: ASUS TUF Z370-PLUS GAMINGRAM: HyperX Predator 16GB - PC4-24000 - DIMM (3000 MHz)HDD: Western Digital Black - 2TB - DesktopSSD: Samsung 860 Evo 500GB M.2 SSD Minor texture issues. Runs a bit better than 1.15.3b. Cannot do deeply test because the game randomly freeze and I have to kill the process. Overall, 1.14.0c runs Xenoblade Chronicles X extremely well. Voices being overpowered by the comparatively louder music during cut scenes was a common issue in the original game on the Wii U. This error might be in-game, in which case all is fine. Part of the Xeno series of video games, it serves as a spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. No major environment issues. I cannot say that this game is truly playable right now. Light trails on cars and skells can randomly lag behind by a frame, causing small flickering. Because of this, the "Texture LOD Offset" graphics pack may help with this. It stutters a little when there's a rapid change of scenery, other than that it runs smooth, combat does not slow it down lower than 28fps. 10-15fps in title screen, 15-30fps in cutscenes, 10-18fps in-game.
Occasionally a shadowy overlay appears over some geometry, following the camera. I discovered this issue in Noctilum in certain areas. This issue is made worse and more common, but not caused by: It seems to be caused by some sort of scheduling issue. Lin's eyes became whole white w/o pupils. There is no way to get out of this screen other than restarting Cemu. Framerate is good and much stable than 1.7.5 but I cannot say the game is "Playable" because it randomly yet frequently freezes. Music volume can be adjusted with this. Stretched polygons everywhere, takes a good while to load after starting a new game. These are load acceleration data packs for a disc version of the game with the duplicate data. Half FPS drop compared to the 1.7.2. (accelerated streamout), Still having micro-stutters when running towards scenes that hasn't been pre-loaded (maybe caching problems?). You can play from beginning to end with minor annoyance issues relating to offline play. 15-30fps in title screen, 15-30fps in cutscenes, 10-15fps in-game, many character model/texture issues, environment/background and weather looks decent. Surprisingly, besides the character and enemy models flickering in and out of view, the environment looks very spot-on to the original. Sound is next to unhearable, distorted and slowed down especially in the cutscenes. Runs really well in Sylvalum and Noctilum, unexpectedly. Friend functionality works if a friend is added on actual hardware, or through a dumped Friends List applet in Cemu. Game cycles through day night cycles in about 10 seconds. Colors also seem to be a lot darker than they are on the console. First cutscene still has to be skipped, following cutscene now plays with proper audio and is at a consistent 30fps. Encountered audio issues until I switched from DirectSound to XAudio2. The largest issue that is the majority of the reason why I currently consider this game not playable is the audio. Excellent performance compared to previous versions. Voices being overpowered by the comparatively louder music during cut scenes was a common issue in the original game on the Wii U. However, after a couple loading screens, I had alt-tabbed away from the game... while alt-tabbed away CEMU crashed. Sound plays for a couple seconds then stops. Attendance of graphic defects after a certain number of minutes. Excuse the terrible gameplay, this game is really different compared to Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and I'm still getting used to it. Unfortunately, the emulator crashed while I was fighting in Sylvalum. The Framerate is the best with this version and the most stable, but the game is not playable, crashes in some islands and there is a day/night cycle bug causing the screen to flicker wich make it prety much unplayable, Very smooth game experience, 30fps with 4K texture packs and shader cache, day/night bug was fixed, but game still randomly freezes, very often in Noctilum, problems with textures and sound.
