Grief explored with beautiful precision through the nuances of dialogue between a grandmother and her grandson — folded with humor, crafted in simple exchanges and enough space between lines to allow the story to live, this play is a must read and I feel even more unfortunate than I already did not to be able. I wouldn't expect any less from Amy Herzog. But, it is more about behavior between and of the two characters than plot points. The relationships are all convincing and interesting.
