Terrified excitement: Advice for a first year PhD student April 10, 2016 May 6, 2016 / clinpsylife As I think about the upcoming school year, and beginning a six year PhD program in general, I have mixed emotions about simultaneously feeling prepared/excited and completely unprepared/terrified.
